We were appointed as the M&E design engineers for the repurposing of a 1970’s office block in downtown Middlesborough. The structure, which currently stands as a shell and core unit that makes an eyesore on the skyline will be converted into an array of highly desirable residential flats.
We worked closely with the contractor and undertook SAP modelling, energy assessments, M&E design, space planning and utilities coordination to deliver well designed residences that placed occupant comfort and wellbeing first. Space heating will be served by highly efficient VRF units and air source heat pumps will be used for hot water provision.
