After a successful application PSDS Phase 2 decarbonisation grant and installation of MEP services on Derby College’s Broomfield Hall campus, our team were subsequently appointed for a similar project with the Brooksby Melton College site.
The scheme started with a Decarbonisation Feasibility assessment for the grant application, through detailed MEP design and construction.
The project included a fabric first approach along with replacement of oil boilers to provide the heating and hot water services. A cascade heat pump system with water source and air source heat pumps was designed.
