We were employed by Jomast as consultants on a multi-million-pound Premier-Inn conversion, to transform the former Co-op department store on Elder Way in Chesterfield. The completed project has regenerated the traditional market quarter of the town and has helped open the area up to visitors.
As the MEP Consultants, we produced a Part L model, energy reduction statement, energy strategy and BREEAM assessment for the new development, achieving a meaningful 35% reduction in CO2 emissions. We achieved this with our air source heat pump installation coupled with a discretely installed PV array, which could efficiently run specified to meet the buildings high hot water demand.
